Walls, roof, furniture, lighting… My villa must be ready now, right? Certainly not! We’re missing the fabrics. And here at Cap Karoso, it’s been a serious choice.
Bringing a dose refined French sophistication to the soft furnishings of the villas – and balancing the wild and wonderful Sumbanese nature which surrounds you at every turn – we’ve partnered up with one of the most inspiring fabric manufacturers in the world: Pierre Frey.
Founded in 1935, the French House creates, edits, and manufactures luxurious upholstery fabrics rich in their signature inventive and eclectic style. Each collection draws inspiration from ethnic art, eighteenth century France, and contemporary art, while mixing materials and motifs, and uniting them all in harmonious colors. There’s a story to be seen in every roll.
The epitome of French tradition, high-quality workmanship is the cornerstone of the House, from the savoir faire of the designers, to the technical mastery of the weavers, printers, and embroiderers. And the Pierre Frey Archives department, which houses 30,000 samples, works to revive and share the brand’s heritage with the world. The House is also privileged to be a partner of numerous museums and an active participant in French cultural life.
